John Geraty
John Geraty was one of the original co-owners of the Chicago Hustle, helping launch the team as part of the Women’s Professional Basketball League’s debut in 1978. Known for his business savvy and support of women’s sports, Geraty played a vital role in making the Hustle one of the league’s most stable and well-supported franchises.

The History of the Chicago Hustle:
The Chicago Hustle were an original team in the Women’s Basketball League (WBL) and played all three seasons from 1978-1981.
This story is a chronological history of the Chicago Hustle including drafts, transactions and games from a “newspaper perspective”. It is currently scheduled to be 8th of 9 stories to be written.
